Who are you?
I'm
Martin Preece, owner of WebSeoDesign. On all my projects, I provide the overall
consultation and project management services. I also collaborate with a select group of talented
professionals, who provide me with the ability to offer both versatility and vision
across a wide range of skills.
I was first certified as a "WebPositioner" (as SEO was called "back in the day") in 1998 by Robin Nobles, one of the world's foremost instructors of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategies.
After a long relationship as a student with Robin Nobles and John Alexander, founders of Search Engine Workshops and Workshop Resource Center, I joined their staff and faculty in mid 2005. Since that time, I have taken on additional responsibilities. I am now Operations Manager for Search Engine Workshops and Search Engine Academies. I am also the Manager of the WRC and Online Courses. This association with the Search Engine Workshops gives me access to newest and time-tested SEO/SEM strategies backed by solid research.
I started designing websites in 1997. In 1997-98, I learned the Website development business when I was a contract customer support engineer with a large Internet Service Provider in Florida. During this period, I learned website design, internet operations, and customer support.
I have been involved with various aspects of the internet since 1995. My experience with personal computers dates back to their infancy in 1983. I have worked with all types of computers, from the old TRS-80 Radio Shack computers to the computers that run the large Sony JumboTron video screens in arenas.
